Now Titus is a very unique ski area for the Northeast, and an absolute gem. They were added to the Indy Pass two seasons ago which has helped expose more people to what they have to offer. They're located just 15 miles from the Canadian border and 35 miles away from Plattsburgh on the foothills of the Adirondacks. They are far enough off the beaten path that it is never too busy, and they are often one of the last places in the Northeast to see rain from storms with less optimal tracks and one of the first to benefit from the upslope on the back end from the St. Lawrence River Valley. Their snow is in fact among the best and most consistent in the Northeast and Titus is a great place to have in your back pocket when they stack up with snow while others ice up. On weekdays the fresh snow won't run out either and their rotating midweek schedule of running chairs will leave untouched freshies for the next day.
Laying down that white gold ❄ Be sure to thank a snowmaker this season 🙌

What makes Titus a gem is how well manicured, organized, and operated they are, and how fantastic of a family mountain it is. They have 380 acres of terrain including extensive glades spread across 3 different peaks over a 2 mile stretch. You won't likely see RedBull doing any extreme skiing videos there, it's not a 'radical' mountain, but there is plenty of fun to be had and it's a great place to bring your family. Titus can even feel secluded and very peaceful on weekends on the middle and upper mountains. They also have very affordable slopeside lodging in modern cabins, and night skiing on the lower mountain. They're probably one of the best quiet ski getaways you can find in the Northeast for taking your family on vacation, and we're not just saying that to toot their horn, they really are a gem.
When we created the Snowology Club our goal was to not simply give our subscribers discounts so that they can ski off their pass without prohibitive costs, it was also to help introduce them to places that were new to them and provide unique experiences to explore. We'll make sure to let our subscribers know when that sleeper pow hits Titus because when snow gets deep with hardly anyone around that can create some of the best experiences there are to be had. Don't pass up the opportunity for planning a quiet ski getaway to Titus regardless of the weather so that you can escape the hussle and bussle at a fraction of the cost you may find elsewhere.
Welcome to the club Titus Mountain. We love your ski area, your snow, and your vibe, and we hope that many more will also!
