We're about 3 days away from notable impacts from our next storm that will bring totals likely in excess of 12" in some parts, but we are unfortunately not seeing enough agreement among the models to issue a snowfall forecast. Instead I'm going to go over the various models and trends and address all of the most important aspects of this storm. I can however say with certainty that Saturday will be a pow day! Let's start with a Noon Friday through Noon Sunday loop of this storm from the GFS.
The format of this update will be different due to the uncertainty, but I do hope to be able to issue a snowfall forecast either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning. We'll start this with a discussion of the most likely Pow Day Potential, and then a Snowfall Discussion, and lastly a quick Wind, Ice, and Travel Discussion.
