We're starting to roll out our Snowology Club discount partners for the 2024/2025 ski season and we're going to kick this off with our friends at Magic Mountain in Vermont who just kicked off an opening weekend for the record books with 40 trails and glades and way more powder than they needed. Magic is offering Snowology subscribers one day at half off bringing the ticket price down to just $48. This season they have also expanded to include Thursday, Friday, and now Sunday which will give many more people an opportunity to make use of this perk of their Snowology subscription!
If you don't like 'used' snow then Magic is certainly a place to go because it just simply lasts longer with such a low ratio of uphill capacity to terrain. They are also a favorite destination of ours following a nor'easter as they are typically tucked below the wind that wreaks havoc on many larger ski areas. If you know, you know (and if you don't we'll tell you)!!!
This should be a breakout season for Magic as they now have their Black Quad chair up and running making lift lines on even the busiest of days virtually non-existent because they run out of parking before they can pack the mountain full and they limit their tickets. Snowmaking has also been running smoothly after some notable upgrades to their lifts, lodge, snowmaking pond, pumping capacity, pipes, and snowguns which will help them provide more terrain more quickly than the past when Mother Nature doesn't come through. This is the culmination of 8 years of rebuilding and improvements after the new owners took over in 2016 and their future is looking bright. What they have not changed though is their vibe! At Magic it's not hurry up and wait, it's slow down and enjoy.
