Bolton Valley is a lot of things to different people. They offer the only full night skiing operation in all of Vermont, and it's super affordable. They're also a popular community and family mountain with many children learning to carve up the slopes with their parents guiding them. They have radical terrain with cliffs, steeps, and glades, and often enough natural snow to put the really good stuff in play. They also have probably the largest backcountry community of any resort with a trail network on public land first established the 1920's spanning 40 miles of managed trails. If you want to get into backcountry skiing or riding, they will rent you the gear and teach you how to use it in guided tours.

Bolton Valley is a family affair that runs generations deep. Ralph DesLauriers, the patriarch of the family, built the resort in the 1960's and three generations have now lived at and been raised there. Two of the brothers, Rob and Eric became stars in 1990's ski films, and Adam became a filmmaker. Eventually the resort changed hands and they went their different ways, but in 2017 their family bought it back with daughter Lindsay and son Evan taking over operations. Lindsay DesLauriers is now the President and CEO, Adam returned to become the Director of Special Projects, and recently Eric also returned to become Mountain Operations Director, and Ralph is now primarily just a very proud dad who gets to see his family continue his passion.

We're really excited to see Bolton Valley join the club and invite our community into theirs. This gives our subscribers an outstanding opportunity to ski off their pass and also get lodging without breaking the bank. Given how wonderful the snow and the terrain is, there will be plenty of opportunities to have great days and we hope everyone will find the snow and the vibe that we have fallen in love with ourselves.
