I already sent out updated forecasts this morning in The Week Ahead, but without a deeper discussion of the impacts of snowfall and wind which I will offer here. We'll start off with a 60 hour loop from the ECMWF from 7PM Monday through 7AM on Thursday.

I'm going to cover each system separately below with both Snowfall Forecasts and Wind hold Forecasts, and we do have wind hold risk on Monday through Wednesday in different areas and I did updated the Wind Hold Forecast since this morning. I'll discuss timing and scope for each of those days. Please see Storm Update #1 for some additional details beyond the forecasting itself as that guidance still stands.
I am going to give several Snowology Club shoutouts also here. Snow Ridge is possibly the biggest winner from this series of systems since Sunday and they are closed Monday and Tuesday so there should be some pretty good depth by Wednesday when they spin the lifts again. Magic Mountain is also closed Monday through Wednesday and they will get enough snow to be huntable in these systems when they reopen on Thursday, giving you another chance at a pow day. Royal Mountain should also do well and they are closed Monday through Friday so come Saturday not only these storms but potentially another one Friday and Saturday could make things quite deep and more than refresh things. Stratton has been prime and 100% open for a while now and while there will be wind, I see no reason to avoid them as they likely will keep summit access and you don't need the gondola for weekday traffic (TIP: park at the Sun Bowl base).
Snowology subscribers get one 50% discount to each of the first three and Stratton has tickets through the Snowology Club for as little as $99 on weekdays as well as lodging discounts. There are of course other opportunities out there but these will all be fantastic and among the best conditions you will find with multiple opportunities to score some pow whether you like it packed or fluffy. Everyone in the club will in fact get fresh snow and are skiing absolutely prime right now.
