It's April and that means you want to be optimally hunting corn in above freezing conditions, avoiding flash freezes (like today) and hopefully getting one last gasp of winter with a snowstorm, in fact I think at least 3 out of the last 4 Aprils featured a big dump if my memory isn't failing me.
We'll start with the Operating Status Tracker for the week. Due to so much variability in operations I've just marked with one color who is both open or has indicated an intent to reopen. Note that many of those with an intent to reopen will not do so unless the weather cooperates, and we do have a storm on Thursday that will end in r@!n everywhere, and then a storm this weekend also that unfortunately may mess up many reopening plans. Always check those snow reports for the latest guidance on operating schedules. Some have moved their hours later even when operating 7 days a week. This will unfortunately be the last week for up to 2 dozen ski areas, but we may have up to 10 ski areas still operating until Easter Sunday, and likely at least 4 into May (throw in Sommet Saint-Sauveur in Quebec for a 5th).

And here's the broad view to kick things off showing the latest GFS from Tuesday through Sunday. Note that the weekend storm is not yet set in stone as far as precipitation types, timing, and track and there could be areas of opportunity both days and maybe even a little snow to hunt (no promises, just keeping the hope alive in a realistic manner).

I'm going to cover each day in the Daily Outlooks but I will combine Saturday and Sunday to focus on the storm.
