Winter is over...starting Friday. Yep, we're going to do this one more time, and it will be deep enough to hunt! I even wore shorts on Monday for the first time since November just to will it some more.
Let's start with the Operating Status Tracker for this week so you know what your options are. Further north in Quebec there are another dozen or so ski areas also operating at least next weekend that are not on this map and we expect skiing and riding to last at least until May 21st (at Sommet Saint-Sauveur).

We've got a little r@!n coming through the Northeast today with some afternoon scattered showers expected at open ski areas in Vermont and a gust front that probably hits the Green Mountain Spine around 2-3PM but otherwise probably a decent spring day. The fun however starts around midnight when temperatures drop and the back end begins. I'm going to make this a quick forecast since only 8 ski areas are open for this storm. We will probably see a foot or so of snow from this and with that some wind holds that will be discussed for subscribers.
