We have some isolated wind threats on Thursday that I wanted to drop a note about and it makes sense to give a brief preview of the weekend along with a list of who is planning on being open and what the trail counts look like (as long as they report to Snowcountry who we source this data from). Our weather section of course is great at timing precipitation and starts to become super accurate and increasingly so within 3 days.

So here's your preview for Thursday through Monday of this week from the GFS using 3-hour precipitation intensity (which broadens focused precipitation like fronts but less so than 6-hour precipitation intensity maps).

We may make it through this weekend mostly dry during lift hours but there are some isolated wind issues and some isolated refreeze potential at very high northern elevations on Saturday.

Here's that list of operations across the region including selected ski areas in Quebec (there are more operating than shown in the province that we do not currently track). Make sure to verify statuses before heading out as they may change and might not have updated Snowcountry). Also be aware that some have adjusted lift hours to start and end later.
