I can sum this entire outlook up rather quickly. Conditions are packed powder across the ENTIRE region, it's going to be chilly, we're only getting brushed at most by the "bomb cyclone" that the weather idiots have been pumping, and we have some limited wind hold issues on Friday and Monday. It's going to be a great weekend but make sure you dress appropriately.

So let's look at the 6-hour precipitation intensity loop from the latest GFS to set this up:

I'm going to first go over the Snow Forecast and then the Temperature Forecast, and then the Wind Hold Forecast. Since this is pretty uncomplicated I'm also going to do a Polar Vortex Forecast and talk about a disruption that is triggered by one of the parts of this storm.

We are currently working on adding hourly weather summaries to our website forecasts and I expect that could happen as early as Friday. These summaries will list the base and summit temps, either precipitation or sky cover, the percentage chance of precipitation, and the gusts at the summit for every hour of the next 7 days. There will be an announcement when this drops.
