So here's the story for this weekend. It's a holiday weekend, the last big one of the season. Conditions are currently great everywhere (relative to the average) and we saw up to about a foot fall in the last 2 days at quite a few locations. Warm air is going to start marching north on Friday day by day along with two waves of isolated light snow. It's virtually a perfect holiday weekend and the ski industry couldn't ask for much better than this.
So let's take a peek at the surface weather loop from the latest GFS to set the weather up.

You'll need to choose your destination carefully in order to avoid the crowds, and I'm going to show you how in the Traffic Forecast. As far as the temps go, we're definitely in danger of some sticky snow also, and I'll tell you what to look out for in the Temperature Forecast. I'll cover the Snow Forecast (pretty minimal) and also give a preview of the next system. The weather might not be active but Snowology is more than just the weather and we can help you through the holiday weekend and beyond.
