We're down to 6 ski areas across the East operating on the first weekend of May. Sugarbush will only be operating on Saturday with a bit of a grass gap between Steins and Coffee Run and free tickets for everyone to close down their season, but Jay Peak, Black Mountain, Killington, Camelback, and Saint-Sauveur will be open Fri-Sun before they all take a break during the week which will end a daily operations in the East, but there are still probably 4 more weeks of skiing and riding to be had.
We have seasonally cool weather in front of us with some scattered showers on Saturday but also likely some snow at elevation on Saturday morning. Here's the ECMWF 3-hour precipitation intensity shown through Sunday.
